International rail services from Kent once provided vital cross-border connectivity, but their withdrawal has left a significant gap. Enroute and Bring Back Euro Trains (BBET) are speaking at a webinar to explore the case for restoring these services, the wider challenges for international rail, and what a revival could look like.
Alexander Bienfait, Chair of BBET, will provide an overview of the campaign’s advocacy efforts, from policy engagement to public support. Harry Burr, Joint Chief Executive of Enroute, will present findings from their joint research, examining the impacts of service withdrawal and potential options for reintroducing international rail links.
