About David
David is Joint Chief Executive of Enroute, responsible for our transport research. He is studying Geography (BA) at Durham University and has spent a year working in Operations & Performance at Northern Trains, learning about how to identify and implement improvements to our complex rail network.

Interests
David is particularly interested in capacity constraints on the rail network, having spent many afternoons on his way home from school waiting for delayed trains on Platform 13 at Manchester Piccadilly. Nowadays he can usually be found somewhere on the Trans-Pennine route, or on his way to Hungary by train.
